This After Effects work was projected onto a thin glass panel mounted onto a portable metal frame. Shown is a reformatted version of what was placed in several outdoor and private venues in The Hague during May and June, 2008. Links detailing the projection method used are listed below.

EastFilms is an independent collective who used this to promote their recent film project titled ‘Five links’, which explores Dutch and English café culture. Film sequences have been recorded recently and will continue to record and edit during the time leading up to the 2012 Olympic games in London. The focus of their work is less about the sporting event itself and more about the perspectives and lives of those watching it.

This method of visual promotion is a form of guerrilla marketing. A promotional website is also planned, but the focus of these installations is to create a wider visual awareness of these images and symbols – and then qualify what it’s about.
